Riedel Veritas Champagne Glass

“But why?!”, you ask?  Short answer – Because as “Using a flute for Champagne is like going to a concert with earplugs!”

We want to provide the best possible wine experience for our guests, and it has been determined the Flute glass can hamper the enjoyment of wine, rather than heighten it.  In the past few years, there has been much debate over the perfect glass for Champagne (and other sparkling wine); however, there is one thing all Sommeliers tend to agree on: the Flute does not allow the wine drinker to fully appreciate the wine in that glass.  You aren’t able to experience the full aroma of the wine, you cannot adequately swirl the wine, and for some, it is difficult to drink from; the glass is simply too narrow.

So…shortly we will be bringing in the Riedel Veritas Champagne glass.  It is somewhere between a Flute and a white wine glass and in our opinion, the most perfect Champagne glass currently available.  These glasses will allow to make up for the shortcomings of the flute glass.
